THE DRIVING TEST IN Bolton
Bolton Driving Test Centre is situated around busy urban roads. A thorough understanding of roundabouts, junctions, crossroads and one-way-systems is essential. Narrow residential roads are likely during the driving test from Bolton Driving Test Centre.
These types of roads are hazardous due to width constraints and oncoming traffic. Primary route ‘A’ roads such as the A666 and A676 are also likely and a good understanding of approaching traffic speed is important when joining such roads. Rural ‘out-of-town’ roads may also feature (see country road driving for the driving test).
These roads present a different hazard as they may be high speed and correct navigational speed of bends is a challenge. All four driving test manoeuvres will need to be learnt to a high level and the emergency stop.
To find out more information for the type of roads you will be taking from Bolton Driving Test Centre, visit our driving test routes section to gain an understanding on the various road types and traffic systems you will encounter.

Depending on the route this can be easier or much harder as on the busier route almost all the road markings are faded and theres so much going on you can get flustered easier.
Some examiners have been more tense to drive with than the others
they were okay I guess...
Good test centre and routes. Friendly examiners.
Put you off. Everything that they teach you is bull s**t.
