DRIVING SCHOOL INFORMATION
I qualified as a driving instructor in Oct 2014 and started up my own school in April 2015. Before this I worked at a large store as a customer delivery assistant after spending 15 years as a gymnastics coach. I missed coaching and so decided retrain and combine my coaching and driving skills to become a driving instructor. I now wish I had of done so much sooner, as I love now love my job.
I currently use an MG3 petrol engine car with dual controls. It’s easy to drive, spacious inside and has good all round visibility. It has air-conditioning, electric windows and cruise control. It makes an ideal learner car and being petrol the transition to a small first time car is far easier than if learning in a diesel.
I may be a relatively new instructor but I pride myself in being friendly, approachable and patient. I’ve had a reasonable number of very nervous customers who have gone on to really enjoy driving. I keep my prices competitive and give a reduction on blocks of 10 hours or more.
