Listed are the UK driving test centre pass rates for 2016. Statistics are based on each UK practical driving test centre in operation during the period of April to September 2016.
The amount of individuals learning to drive and going on to take the practical driving test has steadily been declining over the years. For the year 2015 compared to 2014 has however seen an increase in the amount of driving tests conducted by 54,919.
26,404 more males had taken a driving test in 2015 with an increase in 12,200 passing the practical test compared to 2014 figures.
54,919 more females had taken a driving test in 2015 with an increase in 10,931 passing the practical test compared to 2014 figures.
Though 23,131 more people passed the driving test in 2014 compared with 2014, there is a slight decrease in pass rates.

For the entire year of 2015, total practical driving tests conducted is 1,532,504. The total amount of practical driving tests passed is 718,711. The national driving test centre pass rate based on these dates is 46.9%
