THE DRIVING TEST IN Omagh
Driving examiners carefully develop each test route so that it involves the test candidate taking as many different types of roads as possible within a certain radius of the test centre. As a result, Omagh Driving Test Centre will involve the candidate taking busy town based roads along with quieter, but often more challenging rural country roads.
Examiners also ensure a large selection of traffic systems are used from large multi-lane roundabouts, mini roundabouts, plus junctions and crossroads of all types and sizes.
Residential areas either within Omagh or within the external villages will often see the examiner requesting driving test manoeuvres. A choice of four manoeuvres is on offer although typically one is only requested during the practical test.
The emergency stop procedure has a one-in-three chance of being requested (one in every three tests is asked for). The driving test from Omagh will last for approximately 40 minutes, 10 minutes of which will be used for independent driving.
