The turn in the road is one of the more frequently requested manoeuvres during the practical driving test by the DVSA examiner.
The reasoning behind test manoeuvres such as the turn in the road is not to show the driving examiner that you can turn the car around, but to demonstrate that you have a good level of control of the car, accuracy (spatial awareness) and a high level of effective observation with appropriate action being taken.
Once you have read through the turn in the road tutorial, take the turn in the road knowledge test to ensure you understand the essential elements of this manoeuvre.
